Promote a destination through virtual reality
An invitation to discover Loir-et-Cher for the passengers of the Austerlitz train station
The virtual guided tour starts in Austerlitz train station, thanks to a Timescope terminal allowing travelers to discover at 360° emblematic sites of the department: the castles of Chambord, Blois, Cheverny and Vendôme, and Beauval Zooparc.
This spectacular immersion in the Loir-et-Cher aims at bringing new tourists to this beautiful department: the trains leaving the Austerlitz train station reach those cultural and historical sites in less than 2 hours!

A unique virtual guided tour
The 360° virtual tour continues at Chaumont-sur-Loire, with a visit of the Domain: thanks to virtual reality, the Timescope users fly over the Castle, the parks and gardens. The visit goes on at the Castle of Vendôme. A terminal located on the viewpoint spot of the park allows the visitors to understand better the panorama offered by the city lying down before their eyes. The guided tour is ending in Blois, where a Timescope set in front of the Castle plunges its users in 1429, the day when Jeanne d’Arc came to the city.
A huge success for the 4 terminals
Since the first day, in July 2018, more than 8000 people tried the Timescope experience on the 4 sites where the terminals are settled.
