The Mayor of Paris, Anne Hidalgo, has inaugurated the 2nd of April 2017, a new Timescope terminal on the Seine’s river banks. This virtual reality device allows Parisians and tourists to make a unique time travel experience, to discover the Place de Grève at the XVIIth century.
The user picks its language on the touch screen, adjusts the virtual reality binoculars to his height (an experience accessible to children from 6-7 years old), then find himself in immersion into a 360° film of virtual reality that represents the river banks in 1628.
